honestly, this has been one of the best schools I have ever seen. the teachers are excellent and teach very well.

We moved here from Hawaii. I walked into Hambric and was greeted by Asst. Principal Mrs. T'. she sat down with my daughter and I after school and answered every question we had for over 2 hours. this lady is proud of her school and it shows. The next day I met the Principal James Nunn. He already knew who my daughter was based on a conversation with MRS "T". My daughter is a straight A student and he hand picked her classes for her to make sure she was challenged. She has since adjusted better than I could ever have expected. She she was inducted into the NJHS and has excelled in all her classes. They have many sports activities that my daughted has participated and the support and coaches are outstanding. Coach James Hill is one of the best coaches ive ever met and also the nicest. The curriculum is very challenging and the teachers push the students to exceed, while providing help if they need it. If you are considering moving to El Paso whether a job or Military transfer, please find a way to send your kid to this school. everyone I HAVE MET IN THIS SCHOOL IS OUTSTANDING!!I. If it's your 1st visit, ask for Mrs. Tomczuk and she will make you realize your child has found a home.

JANE A HAMBRIC IS A GREAT SCHOOL. BOTH MY CHILDREN ATTEND THE SCHOOL AND MY DAUGHTER ALWAYS HAS POSITIVE THINGS TO SAY ABOUT HER TEACHERS. MY SON IS IN KINDER, HIS TEACHER IS EXTREMELY PATIENT WITH HIM AN YET STRICT. HE LOVES HER(MS. HOOVER). ALWAYS BRAGS ABOUT HOW MUCH HE LEARNED THAT DAY. SCHOOL MONITORS ARE VERY ALERT. THEY RECOGNIZE PARENT AND CHILD VERY QUICK. I BELIEVE THAT IS A GREAT BARGAIN. UNFORTUNATELY, THERE'S BEEN ONE TOO MANY TRAGEDIES IN SCHOOLS. SO FAR, JANE A HAMBRIC , HAS DONE A VERY GOOD JOB KEEPING STUDENTS SAFE. THOUGH, IT WOULD BE LOVELY IF THEY HAD A DIFFERENT AFTERSCHOOL TIME FOR 6-8 GRADE STUDENTS. My son was in pre-K and my daughter was in 1st grade there. They both loved it!! The classes were very full but the teachers were still very caring. My daughter was very smart and the teacher would challenge her with different work and books to read that the teacher would find in her own time! I was impressed! What I did not care for was the teacher monitoring on lunch break. That's when my daughter was being bullied. The last month of school she was in tears and was waking up not wanting to go the next day! It was awful. I went to talk to the principle but instead was told to write a letter as he was in a meeting. A week later my daughter was crying at home saying the 'bullies' were now saying "your mom is gonna go to jail. Your mom is the one in so much trouble" etc. I had to talk to my daughter about that and said the principle obviously said something to their parents for those kids to come back like that. She felt better once I clarified that i would not be going to jail. Needless to say, the teachers are great but the kids STILL need to learn their manners, respect all which must come from home and obviously is not.

As an 8th grader i can say that through out my years there it has been an amazing school I had been in many private schools and being in hambric felt like home i felt secure and loved and now that im leaving it hurts so much i hope that in the future my children go to that extrodanery school

Not happy with the student ratio per teacher or the student population. 4th and 5th grade classes are being held at portable classrooms and some ot the teachers seem very young and inexperienced.
