Excellent school where children can reach their highest potential in a warm and fun, but also challenging, atmosphere. The teaching is meaningful and engaging. We are continuously stunned at what our child is learning at school-- well above grade level, and is having a great time doing it. The teachers are wonderfully nurturing, and the parents are welcoming and very nice. The director, Andrea Slaughter, is amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better school for our child!
My son is in the 2nd grade and has attended Explorations since PreK. We couldn't have chosen a better school for him and our family. He loves to go to school and we love the excellerated learning, caring and dedicated teachers and family-like atmosphere.
We can't say enough about how wonderful Explorations is. My daughter complained every day about going to school before we found Explorations and now she can't get to school fast enough. The style of teaching encourages children to think creatively - there is no cookie-cutter learning here. Class size is small so the teachers can cater to each child's ability. The atmosphere is warm and encouraging, the leadership outstanding. The only disadvantage is that the school doesn't go through 12th grade!
Our sons love going to school! Explorations is such a wonderful and nurturing environment. The Director and teachers are so imaginative in the way they teach the curriculum. Couple that with the hands-on learning and multiple field trips and Explorations cannot be beat in the Flower Mound area.
I love the one and one teaching my daughter gets at EPS. The good communication between the teachers and director with the parents!
We feel so fortunate to have found this little school with such a big heart! My son wakes up so eager to go every morning and the days off he's actually sad that he doesn't have classes. We love the Science curriculum / theme based learning approach and especially the Spanish / French they get twice a week with the option for extra Spanish classes after school. The director and the teachers could not be more enthusiastic and helpful, and will do everything in their power to help the children reach their full potential. It's not about keeping the kids at the same level, as in public schools; it's about seeing how far the EPS students can go... There is no limit! The next year picks up where they left off the previous year; there are no standardized plans or tests here. We wouldn't dream of going anywhere else!
Explorations Prep has a very interesting learning environment which encourages the students to want to learn.
Exploration Preparatory School has small classes which helps create a strong bond amoung the children.
My son started pre-k at another school and did not do well and he did not want to go to school. We decided to try Explorations and have been very pleased. Our son now loves to go to school and is learning so much. He really enjoys the hands on learning and he loves his great teacher!
The Explorations school has given my son a new educational life. The public school had taken him from loving school to hating it in three weeks. Explorations has turned that around. My son is learning and loving it. I can not express how much that means to me.
