My daughter attended this school for all of 1st and most of 2nd grade. She liked it for the most part, she loved her teachers and the friends she made. She didn't like the uniforms though, and I thought it was a bit ridiculous to have elementary school kids wear uniforms, but middle and high school don't. I liked her teachers, and I never had any problems with the staff. I didn't care for the way they changed the drop-off and pick up procedures during this school year, it created horrible traffic. My biggest complaint is that they never sent homework home with the kids. That wouldn't be an issue if no other schools did either, but they do, an dnow my daughter is having a difficult time keeping up with her new schools work load. I would suggest parents print out worksheets for their kids to do as homework. This way when they go on to middle school, the concept of homework isn't foreign to them.

The teachers are NOT paid to offer after school program. They volunteer. If you want a great school, become part of it: volunteer if possible and take an active role in the PTO.

My children have attended Clear Creek for 2.5 years now. I have never been happy with the school. The teachers my kids have had have been great but the school is run like a prison. No one is happy at this school. The staff barks at the students. The communication to the parents is extremely poor. Parent involvement is poor. A lot of the students get bullied. Unless your child wants to take chess or robotics you are out of luck for other activities. I have tried to get my kids into other programs but they are impacted & unless you have a problem child you are out of luck getting them in. My kids do not like attending here. Getting a transfer to another school is difficult.

this school has been wonderful! Lots of activities for the families, try to keep the families very well informed, always watching out for the safety of the children, the office staff has been wonderful and very helpful. The teachers have been absolutely awesome and love their work and their kids! My son is very happy here!

Everyone has been super helpful at this school and so eager to have parents involved! I jumped right into the PTA committee and was welcomed with open arms when asking about it! My son absolutely loves this school and has learned so much. They have really kept him on track and held him up to his standards! He has had a really wonderful teacher who is really all about learning! I'm anxious for the upcoming years here!

The staff is not friendly. Sometimes they are downright rude! They really didn't encourage any parently involvement. Uniforms for 4 years is ridiculous! My daughter was so excited to start school, and after one year, she hates it. She cried when I told her it was almost time to go back.

My kids attended this school last year for the first time. They loved it! The Teachers and Staff are great. The after school programs are nice. I did have a little problem with some lunch issues and with the nurse but nothing to big. My kids will be attending again this year and they are excited to return. I think a lot of the bad reviews on this school are a few years old and since then the school has tried to improve and I'm sure they will continue to do so.

My two children have attended Clear Creek for almost two year. I love the school, techers and office staff. My kids suppose to go to another school but because of my house location, but I decide to leave them in Clear Creek because of how good they was doing academic and how much they love that school. I don't mind to drive every day to drop and pick them, because I know the school is great. I have both of my children in the Honor Roll Progam. They have really great teachers. I also love the extracurricular activities they have. The deployment club, for those that have their dad and mom deploy, are great helping to cope with the deployment time.

We attended this school for a total of three years (three for my son - PreK through the first month of 2nd grade and one for my daughter - PreK through the first month of Kinder), but have recently moved due to PCSing. I was absolutely thrilled with the school. The staff was nice and helpful, the school offered a lot of after school activities including chess club, construction club, and robotics, just to name a few. The school has a standardized dress code which I thought was great as well. My son was in the Talented and Gifted program and did very well with it. The teachers all seem to be caring of the students and look out for them. I don't know why this school is only rated as a '3' because in my book they were a at least an 8 or a 9.

My children only attended one year, before we moved due to military PCS. They really enjoyed it! Teachers were great, they have art/drama/choirs and more for the kiddos to do after school. CYS is awesome for after school care. Yea, they had school uniforms, and my kiddos never deviated from those, but they do not flip out if the kids don't wear a belt one day, or non-white shoes one day. The teachers simply remind them of the policy. School is very supportive of those with deployed parents, and offer a wonderful support group. It really made my kids feel more at ease during our first deployment. Personally, no problems here. School office staff could be more 'approachable', espec. the principal.

My children love this school! There are so many after school activities for my children and the teachers really seem to care about them - kindergarten and third grade. My children love the art and drama classes. They also come home telling me about the neat things they learn everyday.

Do not like the school or the teachers. Very unorgainzed in the way they dismiss children in the afternoon. No activites that amount to much for the children.

For the most part I like the school. Some of the teachers could use some more patience and caring for the kids. Some good points some bad all over give them a C.

Great teachers and great students. My son is in the Resource program in the 1st grade and his teacher is awesome. He has gone from non-reader to on level.

I feel the admininstation of this school is great! Some teachers are lacking a caring touch with the kids. Overall I like this school mainly because if you have a problem the asst. principal and head principal will quickly fix your problem.

Dislike teachers theory for problem children is they must be ADD, make sure your child wears a belt or they will suspend your child, instead of making something so little into something so big of a deal. Not happy with the staff, they are rude when you go into the office they are not polite at all. exstreamly rude, will be moving my child to another school.

This school has been wonderful and awful all at the same time. The after school activities are not only good, but they use their minds. My daughter has really enjoyed her first two years of school. Her teacher works with her one-on-one when she needs it, and her reading skills are now above average! However my son, who has AD/HD and dysgraphia, has had the opposite experience. His disabilities have hindered him at this particular school. A majority of the school's population may be fine with this, but I am not willing to settle.
