Profile Completeness

BASIC

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

This is by far the worst school that I've been to. First day there it was like all the staff knew how to do was give detention and scream at the students. Staff had no respect for the students at all, and the other way around. I've never been one to speak out against a teacher but not even an hour through the day I had wanted to snap. Students had referrals written for NO REASON and their automatic response to a student who misbehaves is detention and a trip to the office. I came out of that building crying after being forced to stay fifteen minutes after the bell along with the rest of the class because one student got out of their seat without permission. This school's review isn't even worth one star. There are new teachers here every year so who knows how bad it could be next or if it will be better.

If there's one thing I've learned from working at premier for 4+ years and that cooperate does not care about education, they don't care about students, they about about dollars. Surprisingly this was explicitly stated at a summer training, "we are not a school, we are a business." They make changes monthly with little regard for the kids. Discipline is non existent. The Same students can cuss out teachers weekly and be disruptive and each time their consequence is to apologize and return to class. What kind of discipline system is this? We have kids literally refusing to work at all, months behind. Yet these kids stay in school and ruined education for the 40+ other kids in the class. I honestly don't know how this school has not been shut down.

I am a graduate of Premier High School. I started when it was still Eagle Academy and was with the school throughout many of its changes. I started at a regular high school and had many problems and fell behind. At Premier I had many one on one relationships with my teachers, some of which I still keep in touch with to this day, and always received help any time I needed it. I had two children and with their help still managed to get my diploma.

Premier High School was a huge disappointment to me and my daughter. I recommend taking your child to a school with their priorities are straight. They are highly unorganized and extremely rude.

I taught at this school for 4 years. It was a unique experience and an opportunity to help students succeed in spite of the failure of the public school system to give them the tools they need to not only graduate but to become responsible, productive citizens. The kids at Premier were 'throwaway' students who we helped to realize their potential. I am proud to have been a part of Premier High School.
