Academic focus and philosophy

Educational philosophy and approach to learning We are committed to doing "Whatever It Takes!" to support our students. We identify each student's progress and specific needs and work to provide early interventions to ensure students have a firm foundation in literacy. Instruction is designed to engage students actively in the learning process, with hands-on and interactive activities aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills. We have strong Math and Reading programs in both English and Spanish.

Parent involvement details We could not do what we do without our wonderful parents. Success requires trust, which begins with active and early communication. When in doubt, call the teacher! We appreciate it when parents come to meet in person. We host regular community events to invite parents to learn about the campus and engage in the learning process with their child. It is our goal that our academic events provide parents and families with ideas they can in turn implement at home to support their child's learning.
