I have been at OLV since 2006 .We had a little bump in the road for a couple of years but with our new principal the school will flourish. I will never give up on this spectacular school. I Love OLV! I truly enjoy that I trust the teachers and staff with my children completely. It is so refreshing to see that each teacher knows each childs name. As a parent my life is made so much easier that my children ENJOY school.

We love OLV, my children love their teachers, friends and the school in general. The school offers a strong faith based environment and this is very comforting as a parent. The teachers and principal are very hard working and all strive for the improvement of the school and of the child.

OLV was a wonderful school when my children started attending there 6 years ago. About 2 years ago the wonderful family feeling began to change. Now, there has been a new principal for 1 1/2 years and she is TERRIBLE! She treats the teachers disrespectfully in front of parents and other staff members, does not account for money raised by the parents for the school and ignores parents' concerns and has let go the best teachers in the school. I would have given OLV 5 stars up to two years ago, but now am so disappointed in what it has become. I have pulled my children out to attend another school.

Community ratings and reviews do not represent the views of GreatSchools nor does GreatSchools check their accuracy or verify the reviewers' identities. Use your discretion when evaluating these reviews.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
