Thank you Andersons for essentially saving my son's life, for giving us hope for his future, for enabling him to love school and life again. I hate to think where our family would be without you all. So at this time of year and all the days since we met you, I am thankful beyond measure for you all.

Finding the Anderson School was such a blessing on so many levels for us. We had been led to this most amazing oasis where each child is nurtured and every part of the child learns by revealing and sharing who they are. You, Mrs. and Dr. Anderson, have been blessed with these incredibly compassionate hearts, higher planes of intuition, years of experience teaching, all garnered together making you so humanly adept at knowing when a child is feeling particularly vulnerable, alone or misunderstood. You know what this child needs to hear. I have observed you do this hundreds of times. There is an ambiance at the Anderson School almost like a force of palpable energy for each child who walks in here; a place and people who magnify hope, encouragement, a striving to know that the world of learning is an infinite experience that sometimes means delving way down, through and beside one's deepest uncharted territories. However ultimately (magically) you model and teach these children that learning is an experience to be joyfully shared with their friends. I hope you know that on a scale 1 to 20, 20 being the best overall experience ever, my son would rate Anderson at 100.

I want to thank everyone at the Anderson School for giving me back my son who loves to learn. Six years ago I brought my broken and unhappy boy, who hated school, to the Anderson School and they turned him into a happy, well adjusted young man who is looking forward to entering college this Fall, at the age of sixteen. It has been a wonderful relief to know that the environment he was in was safe and free from the all the typical problems, like drugs and crime, found in other schools. To me, the freedom from worrying about such things was a great gift. Thank you all!

There is so much that I admire about the Anderson School. There are several beautiful animal friends, dogs and other pets such as a rabbit at the school. They are very therapeutic for the children. And the union of the two, working and playing together in such harmony, is a beautiful thing to see. My son has learned many things from these pets, and I believe love is the primary thing I see. The Andersons also allowed him to bring his puppy to school and stay with him all day. This made my son feel very much at home. Thank you Andersons. I appreciate all of the special things you do.

My son has expressed to me countless times how much he has enjoyed the freedom he experienced in learning and working at his own speed. He actually finished THREE years of math in just one year. He worked very hard, and I can honestly say I don't think he misused even one moment in learning last year. Thank you for giving him an experience he will NEVER forget. I appreciate so much the Anderson School giving him this wonderful opportunity.

My son finished another great year at Anderson. And in viewing the school play on their website, I must admit that the kids were fantastic! This was the best Shakespeare production my son has been in. This performance did wonders for his self-esteem. I thoroughly enjoyed Othello! George Rodriguez proved once again in directing this challenging play, that he can elicit professional quality performances from children of any age. Congratulations! It truly was a superior production.

I wish to say thank you, a soul to soul truly felt gratitude. I heard during my search for a school, there will not be a perfect school. But yes! We found our school! I know of no other school that is so warm, loving, that you can feel the energy level when you walk in the feeling is incredible. One of the greatest gifts Anderson gives is a level of trust, knowing your children feel safe, loved and educated with respect and dignity. Our son is filled daily with a sense of pride, confidence and excitement to go to school and learn. We love most that all children can be themselves and learn at their own level, no pressure and no worries of being judged by peers and staff - for accepting that children learn differently. There's always someone to help with patience until he understands. My son loves Dr. A's jokes and that any question asked, you know there's always a great laugh and smile coming your way with his answer. He admires Mrs. A's strength-n-wisdom to teach with a great patience & passion and most important, a loving heart for all children. And the dogs give warmth-n-comfort. We are excited & blessed to have the opportunity to attend another year at Anderson School!

Before coming to the Anderson School my son had begun to give up and withdraw. Now he is learning to trust people again and is excited about what the school has to offer him. He is excited about getting out of bed in the morning to go to school. He respects Dr. Anderson and Mrs. Anderson tremendously. Thank you for your tremendous wisdom and compassion. The school is making a big difference in his life and in the life of our family. Thank you.

My parents placed me in a positive academic environment that had a curriculum which enabled me to graduate early. Through the academic privileges of attending the Anderson School, I have better established my identity and I have grown as a person. The environment was positive, upbeat and salutary. By attending this smaller school, I received a more personalized education. The curriculum was designed around helping a student learn not through busy work, but through advancement according to each student's ability. Such a system allowed me to graduate early. I am glad to have attended such a school that helped me hone my academic abilities and offered me the academic freedom to advance according to my own initiative.

I have to admit I cried all the way home, tears of happiness that our son is happy at last. Thank you for accepting him in your wonderful school. We are simply overjoyed. You have such an organic environment at Anderson. Thank you so, so much. I am so relieved, you have no idea. I love that kid so much and my heart is just swelling that he is happy again.

I would love to say so many things I hold in my heart that words cannot convey. The Anderson School family is a part of me. I have found that I truly need everyone in this school in my life more than anyone could know. Thank you for taking the time to love me and my children. It is returned tenfold in my heart but words somehow fail to convey the depth of my feeling. I truly cherish the days my children are with the Anderson School.

I only spent a brief time at the Anderson School. However, it was a life changing experience. Attending the Anderson School not only provided me with a high level of education, but also with the skills of how to cope with and make it through life successfully. I wish I could have spent more time here to gain more of the knowledge that it taught throughout the years. This is an exceptional school and I would recommend any parent looking to enhance their child's education and future to attend the Anderson School.

My family is so fortunate to find this school. Every day brings a happy child back to our home. He is full of energy and anxious to go to school every day. What a difference this makes, not only in his life, but in ours. May God bless each one of you as you strive to maintain such a pleasant place for our son to grow and mature into a man. I credit you with making a huge difference in our lives. Thank you.

I want everyone to know what a wonderful place we have found at the Anderson School. The small and very personable campus is perfect for our children who are, quite simply happy. Thank you for giving us back the children we knew long ago. They are now free of all prescribed behavior influencing drugs and are truly happy, as are we. We have rediscovered their beautiful personalities. I know it must be difficult to provide such a personalized program of study and to work with each child in such a warm way. My husband and I are very grateful.

All the research shows that gifted people need support behind them. The higher the level of giftedness the more support they are going to need. That's why the Anderson School is so important. It's a ready made support for people that do not view the world through everybody else's eyes. And they are there daily, to support each other. I believe that God directed our son to this school, so that he could be given the things that he knew he needed. The Anderson's took him under their wings and there is no way we could ever repay them for what they did. It is beyond our comprehension. You have got to have the stars in your crown for what you have done. Just know that we love you and appreciate you very much.

When my daughter came to the Anderson School, she was entering fourth grade and was reading on a first grade level. The previous year, she had cried real tears every night saying nobody liked her. She really enjoyed school for the first time at the Anderson School. She was able to relax and stop comparing herself to everyone else. She loved all the animals they have around and the relaxed atmosphere. When she went back to public school for fifth grade, she tested out her reading on a fifth grade level. She read the whole Harry Potter series on her own! This is amazing because before she hated to read. Today she is a sophomore at the University of Texas in Odessa. She makes friends easily and is the most outgoing of all my children. She is still dyslexic and dysgraphic but she but she is confident that she is smart and doesn't let anything stop her. She had a 3.0 + GPA her freshmen year and received the sophomore extension of the freshman scholarship. I think sending her to the Anderson School was the best thing I did for her and I often tell others who have similar problems with their kids about you. I hope you continue your school for a long, long time.

Dr. Anderson and LeVonna have been pioneering educators in meeting the special needs of highly able children. They are the only resource in this area that provides for our gifted children. The offer such a unique and highly personalized method of instruction and it truly meets the needs of my child. As educators they have always performed far beyond my expectations and have my deepest admiration and gratitude. I truly admire them as friends and, most importantly, as loving and totally dedicated teachers. They are passionate about life and share their love with everyone around them. And they meet the many challenges this implies and with courage, patience and dignity. Their love for my son is unconditional and is the hallmark of the admiration I, and so many others, harbor in our hearts for both of them. I admire them and am truly grateful for everything they do for my precious son and all the other children fortunate enough to be placed in their tender, loving care.

The Anderson School has proven to be a precious resource for our family and a salvation for our son. Without the insightful and uplifting intervention provided by this wonderful school, I feel that we would have lost our only child. My husband and I are truly grateful for the personal attention and comforting thoughtfulness provided for him and everyone in school. The advantages we have realized by our association with this school are numerous. Our best wishes go to every precious member of the remarkable and dedicated staff of this unique school. Thank you for being there for us.

I cannot tell you how happy I am to see my son at the end of each day and see him excited about going to school. He is learning about other kids and excited about making friends. I see him taking responsibility to get ready for school and try to remember the things he needs without reminders. The Anderson School fills a niche nothing else could in my son s life and we are very grateful. He has very proud grandparents and step-grandparents who want to talk to him every day to find out what new things he did. I am so thankful that they provide this wonderful learning environment social and academic for my son.

When my son was nine, he chose to attend the Anderson School. He was a cancer patient and spent nine years there before his death. This was truly a second home to him. As he continually battled cancer, his only wish was to continue going to school at the Anderson School; There, not only was he nurtured academically, but also spiritually and emotionally. The Anderson School changed our lives It is full of positive students, parents and faculty. Dr. and Mrs. Anderson change lives daily. They are involved not only with the children, but with the families as well. They help everyone improve the quality of their life. Not only did my son begin college at age sixteen, he was also fully prepared for it at sixteen. He had a superior academic advantage because of his attendance at Anderson School. Currently, my grandson, who is four, attends the Anderson School. I watch him grow while being full of happiness each day because of the environment, the loving children and the dedicated professionals he is surrounded by. This school is truly an oasis, in the empty desert of academics.

I am thankful everyday for the miracles that the Anderson school has brought us.

I will never find the words to express to you how much I have seen my son learn and mature since coming to the Anderson School. I see him open up and share his thoughts, hopes and dreams. He is learning to trust people again. He is excited about getting ready for school and I cannot tell you how much it means to him. They treat the boys with respect and lead them in learning for themselves how to be accountable, responsible for their actions and for their solutions. I know everyone at the Anderson School puts so much heart, energy and TLC into these children. They are making such a huge difference in our son's life and in our family. Thank you for all you do!

Dr and Mrs. Anderson thank you for responding to the call that the Lord put on your hearts to minister to gifted children. I know that you are blessed to do what you do and I am blessed as a parent to support you in being the educators of children, mine included. The world is a better place because of your daily efforts with the children you teach and the lives you impact. God bless you and your family. I have been actively searching for the correct educational model for my daughter since she was seven. She went through many years of frustration and anguish. The traditional classroom was not a successful environment for her. The Lord led me to Anderson I took a leap of faith and moved my family to Fort Worth hoping to save my daughter from a fate worse than death, staying in a public school.

It has been a while, but I was asked to do outside teaching at this school. It was the worst school I have been involved in. I can't believe people paid to send kids here. They played and were unruly all day. Very little academics. Video games was the main thing for teenage boys during school. Elementary learned to spell and simple math, but you can do that yourself at home. Do not send your child here.

This school was a great disappointment. Even though the student count is minimal, the availability of the faculty was inadequate for my child. For the exception of 1 class, the teaching quality and academics provided was equal to that of public schools, and the lesson materials were equal to that of home schooling. I do not recommend this school, especially for children with special needs and attention.
