I attended a three day training which included observations in the classroom. I am so impressed by the sweet, peaceful, calm spirit. The teachers were all well prepared and the students behaved wonderfully. If I lived in this area, I would enroll my child today. What impresses me most is the strong academics. I never saw a bored child. The Spanish class was hard for me and I took two years in college. The teacher spoke Spanish 90% of the time. The kids KNEW Spanish. It was impressive.

We had the privilege of working with this school. While we were there, we observed beauty everywhere. From the behavior and cheerfulness of the students and teachers to the tasteful classrooms and exciting subject matter. This school is excellent and we would be thrilled to be able to send our children there someday.

This is our second year at Ambleside. When we chose this school we were looking for a school that would challenge our children academically. After reviewing the work of some of the current students, it was clear this school would be the right choice to challenge our children. I have to admit, I thought the open house seemed a little bit too good to be true. How can a school make a child a better person? This skepticism was dispelled after observing one kindergarten class. I never realized the full impact this school would have on the ENTIRE family. This school and every member of the faculty is committed to teaching our children way more about life, than just memorizing facts. The character, habits, and work ethic this school instills in our children teaches them how to relate to life, as well as how to learn. Great School!!

My wife and I have three children enrolled at Ambleside and have been with the school for six years. The Charlotte Mason philosophy is a large component of the curriculum, incorporating narration, nature study, art and bible study. My children love the teachers and we appreciate their devotion to them.

The philosophy of education that started this school is amazing and worth looking into. The school itself has lost the love it had for each other, the philosophy, and the students that it had in the beginning. Unless there is major changes within the leadership of the school I would not recommend it. The philosophy is a gem though and should be considered being used at home, Charlotte Mason's ideas are inspiring, but Ambleside has come a long way from them.
