The teacher my daughter had was great! The front desk staff at this school is horrid. They barely smile when you come in to the office. I have experienced three different bad experiences here. Two were the first day we signed up there the office staff was talking lightly of a bullying report now granted I don't know the situation but there are always two sides to a story and do not talk so loudly about it and so openly in the front office. Also upon arriving at the school(I feel this one is the worst..wish I would have gotten the naming the teacher) and teacher was pulling a special needs student off the floor by his hood of his jacket. Those kids are special needs.. So of course they are going to act up but if I ever saw someone putting there hands on my child with a disability like that it would not be good! Not to me took the way she was talking to him.. As soon as she saw me she softened her tone. Last, after a kindergarten program two sets of parents started arguing at the back of the school and cussing and yelling and talking about guns being involved.. WITH NO SECURITY AROUND. I understand things happen but consider recent events lets please have just a little more security.

I started out with just a kindergartener at Roberts and now currently have three children enrolled at the school. I believe Roberts elementary has outstanding teachers and a wonderful administrative group. My children have had very involved and nurturing teachers over the years. I am so proud of the hard work and dedication put forth by the faculty and staff at Roberts Elementary... the several awards for being exemplary doesn't hurt either! Great school, great teachers, great principal!

I have had 2 children attend Roberts Elementary and I have been very pleased with the quality of teaching here. I would recommend the teachers and this schools to other families in the area.
