I have 3 children that have been at Burton over the past 4 years and this school is okay, but I do agree with the other parent about more field trips. Growing up out of state, we had fields trips about every two months, of course, we had to pay a little to go (ie. $3-$5 or something), but it is well worth it. I In my opinion, this school is a little crowded for an elementary school. I believe the population to be between 900 - 1000 kids. There should be another school built for those who live in surrounding towns to go to. Extra-curricular activities would be nice, but I really didn't have any of that type of thing going on, until middle school. I do on the other hand wish they had a music department where the kids can play in the band or orchestra.

Teachers work very hard at Burton. The test scores are on the rise and the student discipline has improved.

My child has attended Burton 3 years, and I love the new administration. However, it would be nice to have field trips. My child only had one field trip last school year. I am sure the kids would love to experience learning outside of school. The deserving kids would be appreciative!

This is my child's 3rd year at Burton. The new Principal is great and they have really worked to improve the school. The difference is made with more parent participation.

Teachers are stressed out from the kids.. No discipline. Principal doesn;'t see any issues in our school.

We just started here this year...so my ratings are really based on her teachers and our personal experience here in the last few months. The school is well kept and the teachers and staff seem to be concered and sincere. More choices for after school programs would be nice
