A a prospective homebuyer in the area these kind of comments really affect our decision. Bullying, rude teachers. I suspect we will look elsewhere

This school is the best! All the teachers are super nice and there are no bullies, which is a wonderful thing!

This school is filled with bullies! My child was harrassed physically by a student!! I am very disappointed that further disciplinary action was not taken. As for the cirriculum - it's a joke! Their are no course offerings for any grades besides AP classes which are laughable! My child has tested at an AP 10th grade level, so now we are looking for a school that can provide the academics that is needed. If you are looking for a school full of bullies and a lower than average cirruculum, then this is the school for you!! Otherwise, look elsewhere. Oh and if you ever send correspondence to the principal, don't ever expect to hear from him. He will only pass you on the the assistant principals.

I am the parent of a 6th grader and 70% of the teachers are RUDE RUDE RUDE! They yell at the children, are extremely impatient, and easily frustrated with struggling students. They embarrass children in front of their peers. It's the principal who establishes the culture at a school, and obviously the 6th grade vice principal and main principle allow this culture to be established by the staff. The counselor shakes your hand like a limp dish rag and spends 30 seconds typing the parent a 1 sentence email when asking for information about their child, then spends the same amount of time "checking" on the child. Very disappointing.

I am an eighth grader at Clark Middle School. It is a wonderful school with amazing students and no bullying at all, but the staff can be unfair. Most of the teachers (Not all) there like to pick favorites and those they decide they do not like are treated unfairly. The athletics teachers are slightly rude too. But I do enjoy my years here, because of the students and the nice teachers that are here.

We've been involved at Clark for a few years, now. In the category of 'principal leadership', I can't say that there is any: there's never any contact. Everything seems to be run through the school's vice-principals. Teacher quality is fine, but teacher communication is awful. You have to request teacher meetings to get any real information on what's going on in the classroom. Also, if you ask to get ongoing feedback from them on how your child is performing/behaving, they just tell you to schedule another meeting if you have other concerns. It shouldn't be so hard to get feedback from a teacher. Extracurricular activities are a major plus. Everything from theater to sports to academic events. Everything seems to revolve around the band, though. Orchestra and choral kids seem to get the short end of the stick when it comes to practice rooms and events, though. Overall, a very decent school.

Hello, I am an Ex 7th grade student from 2004-2005 and I am going to give you my view about Adelle Clark. Negatives and Postives views. Yes, Clark did make me a A and B student and gave gave me wonderful achievement on my behavoir, but there are some dumb rules that drove me crazy. Homework: If your homework isn't turned in you get a form called a 'ZAP' meaning you have to get it signed by your parents and turned back by the school the next day and you will get a 70% and no lower or higher. I understand that, I just thought you should know. Lunch: Awesomely Good! How many periods are there? There are 9 total, I was exhausted by time I got home. Teachers: Some are Rude,They were rude to my parents. Extracurricular activities: Awesome expecially theater. School total: It's ok I give it (1-5) 3

My daughter attended sixth grade last year and is currently a seventh grader at Clark Middle School. She is happy there and has a positive attitude about the teachers, fellow students, and the programs offered. I feel that Clark is an exceptional school, with qualified staff and teachers and more than adequate facilities. The student teacher ratio is generally low and there seems to be very little student conflict/bullying. Clark utilizes an internet program which allows parents to view their child's day to day homework, test scores, and upcoming schoolwork. Their sports programs are good; generally youth sports in this area (Frisco/Plano TX) is widespread and participation is readily available for most students. Academics are strong, AP courses are available, band, art, theater, Spanish, and a course that seems to cater to engineering enthusiasts, are all available. We are impressed with this school so far!
