Since the last review about this school was written in 2009, I feel it is extremely crucial to write a current review on Bullock Elementary. Administration can usually make or break a school, and the current administration (specifically the principal) is breaking this school apart. Teachers cannot teach because of this horrible woman. I believe she spends more time applying a ridiculous amount of make-up than actually performing administrative duties. I am not speaking as a disgruntled employee, as I had resigned in 2013. I am speaking as a concerned member of the society. I am worried about the students that attend this school. She is ruining their lives, as she ruins their teachers' lives. I am so surprised to see that she continues to have a job here. Overall, the teachers are excellent in this school, but you will never know their true potential because of this principal. Send your kids to a charter school or private school, or take action against this principal.
The teachers at Bullock are the best in Garland. They work very hard with our children and have made us a recognized school for many years. The choir is very good and sings at all the six awards and wins trophies. There is PE game day and a gym night for the parents. There is Art Club too. The principals and teachers help the parents, many of us who do not speak English well.
