Yah there are fights all the time, and the teachers always have a favorite student.................................. But overall i wouldnt go there again. It kinda in a gangster area and there are alot of bloods and cripts. Like this one time i was walking down the street and some random guy walked up to me and said, "are you a blood or cript?" I was like 'i'm not gangster and get off me bro." There are fights in school, and after school. Also when I heard the news that shop was getting canceled i was like OMG.

O'Banion is the best school I have gone to.And thats something!I've gone to 9!The teachers care about the students and everything! If they yell at you your doing something wrong.Yes,they dont use backpacks or lockers. But thats up to the staff.OB has some ups and downs, but its just conveint for the teachers and students. Those who've been good get awards and the bad get punished.Overall the 3 years there were AWSOME!MS.G I miss YOU!And all the other 21 of my teachers.I also miss the old band director Mr.Mac!To bad he retired after 29 years. How you look at OB depends on your decisons. So make the best choices you can and get to "Destination Exellence!"

O'Banion may not be a 'perfect' school in the traditional sense of the word. Our students are faced with many hardships outside of school. Our staff/faculty is absolutely devoted to every student here. We believe in every student's success, no matter their background or past. I am sending my own children to O'Banion because I believe that we have the most dedicated and hard-working staff in the district. I am VERY proud to be a part of O'Banion's journey to 'Destination Excellence', and to have the privilege to watch our students achieve more than they ever thought they could.

I am an 8th grader at OB and i went there last year too. And i just plain hate this school. The teachers dont seem to care about our education. They yell and they single out favorites. Theres fights all of the time. Someone is always messing with someone. Last year, on the second day of school there was a fight, and i saw it. Its horrible. Mrs.Greenidge is the best teacher there. And even sometimes i feel like she doesnt like me. and i dont know why. OB is the last school you wanna send your kid too.

Very Poor sense of security at this school. no use of locker, no backpacks, what has happened here for crying out loud! and there is no organization when picking the kids up from school whatsoever. Principal talks about excellence but he's lacking laot of it

I am a teacher at O'Banion and I feel I must respond to this review. I'm sorry for Ms Fuller's experience. I would want all of our parents to know that we are working hard for our O'Banion students to reach 'Destination Excellence.' Like many teachers, I care for our students and will do all that I can to help them succeed. If any O'Banion parent needs assistance or support, or should you have a suggestion please contact me at the school. Thanks. Jean Greenidge!
