I would love to give the school a higher rating and 2 years ago it was much higher. Teachers are amazing and the try doing some great programs with our children. The last principals were tough but funny. The children respected and loved them and those ladies loved the children but also disciplined firmly. The school was a happy place. The new lady never says a word to parents and knows nothing about the students. She doesn't speak to PTA meetings, not even to compliment students, or to thank the music teacher or to thank parents for attending. Children are miserable and teachers a visibly unhappy, though most try to hide it. All fun programs have been replaced and what's left have been shortened with the principals on the intercoms and at the doors kicking parents out 10-15 minutes before posted end time. It's a very sad thing what this new principal has done to a once lovely school.

I think the teachers at Weaver are great. The Principal is very nice and caring with the kids everytime I have seen her. They do offer math/reading nights periodically that the kids to attend and enjoy. There are not alot of extracurricular activities that are offered that I have every seen and I would like to see more of that. I also think there is lack of parent involment when it comes to helping the teachers out with school functions. Overall the school has been very good for my child.
