George West High School is full of hypocrites and liars. Plain and Simple. The principal and the "Campus Peace Officers" are the worst I've ever seen.
George West High School is a mediocre school. The advance placement classes are scarce. My son takes an advance placement class at a nearby high school (GW does not offer one) and states the discipline at GW is nonexistent compared to the other school.
George West I.S.D. compares very well academically and athletically with all other schools in South Texas. There are no significant discipline problems in the school. There is a positive, safe learning enviroment which exists with the district. There is also a lot of community pride here. I am glad my kids go to school in George West.
