I've had three children graduate from Richarte. The principal is a fantastic leader who cares about her students. She is personable. She knows each student by name and what they are capable of. The teachers are amazing. Teachers call parents when their child is succeeding. Students get one on one attention and help from teachers. They wait outisde in the morning to greet each student. They get hugs from their students at the graduation ceremony. The student body is small, and no one falls through the cracks. All of the students seem to get along with one another. My children are safe at Richarte. Safe to learn. Safe from prejudice. Safe from bullying. Safe from drug pushers. I'd even go so far as to say that the usual peer pressure is not prevelant at Richarte. A student can be who they want to be and not have to do things against their character just to fit in. Students thrive at Richarte. Thank you Ms. Principal! Thank you to all teachers!
I graduated from this school in the top 5% of my class. It was an ideal environment primarilly because the teachers were always willing and the students wanted to be there. As a result, the student body myself included was able to do twice the work in half the time.
I believe that richarte highschool is the school for a child that is in need of one on one teaching and a school for students that want to get ahead and make somthing of themselfs. Richarte is a family school and takes the students as children of there own. I thank God everyday for this school and what it has done for many. It would be nice if all schools were the same as rhs.
