I am the one that wrote the post back in April 2010. I stand by my comment. I have had a great experience at this school to include administration staff, teachers, principals and many others. I have decided to move to another school district after this school for the school system difference and for personal reasons. I wish the high school would have the same experience as Forbes but I do not see that as a chance with feedback from friends and acquiatances. Excellent School! Go Forbes!

this was a really great school. i had been moving from place to place and every school that i went to the kids there were mean and tried to tease me because i was the 'new kid'. but not at forbes. when i started going there i was very nervouse and sad. but the students and teachers made me feel very welcomed there. i think that this is a great school and hope that its here for a very long time. :)

I have 3 of my children at Forbes for the last 8 years. It's a place where the teachers care about the students. Education is top notch at Forbes.

I love going to Forbes! The teachers are great, the athletics is amazing too. The Athletics coaches there really keep you in shape, while having a good time. More important though is the education, it really keeps your mind sharp. The teachers also dont 'give up' on you without trying, and almost all are willing to one on one with you child if they need help. I am proud to have spent my three years of middle school at Forbes.

Forbes is an amazing school and I was proud to spend my three years of middle school education there. The teachers are wonderful and always find time to help you. And the staff, principles and counselors care so much for every student as if they were their own.

I really am not sure that this school is that great academicly, Unless you are a straight a student and dont need ant extra help. If you need any extra help it is very diffucult to get if you get it at all. I wish schools would go back to teaching basic education & quit trying to teach to the test. If we taught the basics the children would be able to pass the test.

Kudos to the principal and teachers at Forbes. All of the teachers my child has had so far (past 2 years) have gone over and beyond to make sure the students get a quality education. Because our family is more focused on academics than extra-curricular activities, we feel like sometimes the extra's take too much time out of the students lives and away from homework. Overall, there is a good balance and a principal with his priorities straight! We highly recommend this school!
