I totally disagree with the first (negative) review. I don't understand this parent at all. My son is at least the 4th generation (possibly 5th) in my family to attend St. Paul, Serbin. The school is the best it's ever been. We have made leaps and bounds in keeping up with technology. For a small school with limited funds, they are working wonders. The staff and faculty are wonderful. They are very caring and helpful. Best of all is that Christian education is of utmost importance. All schools have some problems, but this school provides the absolute most important things - a Christian Education from loving and caring teachers and staff! If you raise your child in a loving, supportive Christian home and your child makes an effort at being a good student and doing what is right, they will EXCEL at St. Paul Serbin and in their future.

My children have attend St. Paul for 6 years and if we have any problems the faculty took care of it immediately.

I do not understand the comments of the last reviewer. I have three children in St. Paul Lutheran School (one of which graduated as the Salutorian, this year). I currently serve as the PTLS president and would like to invite the last reviewer to share their problem with me that they had at St. Paul. I have approximately 20 years of experience with private schools and to tell you the truth, St Paul is by far the best I have had the pleasure of dealing with. My two oldest boys went to another local Christian school and received nothing but attitude problems. I fully regret sending them to that school. My other three children speak very highly of their time spent with the staff and student body at St. Paul, Serbin. I tend to listen to the children. I find one can learn alot from their innocents and honesty.

This school failed my child in more ways than one. They portray themselves to be 'Christians who are Caring, Healthy, Respectful, and In Service To CHRIST' however, it appears to me to be a big lie. This school has proven to me on several occassioins that the staff do not care about the children...

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
