Union Grove Elementary School

We have been here since the beginning of this year. My child is in the third grade. She loves it. She is learning and challenged, she gets help when she needs it, and is constantly encouraged. This is the first year that she has gone through to the Christmas holiday and has not missed one day of school.

Our family has been in UG for 5 years now. We have moved out of district but continue to bring our boys to UG. This school has become an intregal part of their lives and we (as parents) love it! The administration is very approachable, teachers are dedicated, coaches are wonderful. We would recommend this school district to anyone.(The Sorrells Family)

This is our first year at Union Grove ISD. I have two in Jr. High and one in Elementary. We were welcomed with open arms and wonderful attitudes from the staff. The teachers stay on top of what is going and there is great teacher to parent communication. All of us love it here. Thank you. The Schutter Family, Upshur County Texas.

We are a small community that is blessed to have such a great school system that Union Grove ISD provides our children to attend. My wife and I are confident knowing, that when our children step on the bus each morning, they are in a safe environment and are going to receive the best education possible, because of the teaching staff at U.G. The teachers are the most caring group I have ever seen, and are so knowledgeable when it comes to identifying a special need(s) of the student. We have been in the UG School District for two full years now and are absolutely loving it! The teachers are dedicated to meeting the needs of the children on an individual basis and are able to succeed in this area with the smaller student/teacher ratio. There is a great sense of pride and school spirit and tremendous parent and community involvement. Thanks for doing a great job and keep up the good work!
