Nettie Baccus Elementary School

My oldest daughter attended Nettie Baccus Elementary School. She loved the school, her teachers, and all the activities. I can't say enough good things about Nettie Baccus Elementary.

Nettie Baccus and it's faculty have met my daughters needs. However, the new teacher she was assigned to this year has lots to learn about individuality and seems to teach her class as if every child were the same. I am looking forward to 4th grade and a different atmosphere next year. Hopefully this new teacher will have mellowed in time for her second year. Good luck !

Excellent school. I wouldn't have my son go anywhere else. It is more like a family than an educational facility! The teachers, staff and administration truly care about the children.

Extremely high quality of academic programs. Baccus has a science lab, a video production studio, Honors Choir, HOSTS Mentoring Lab (Helping One Student To Succeed) and Gifted and Talented Programs for those students who excel. The music program and art curriculum are fabulous. There are many extracurricular activities available to the students and parents. The school offers parenting workshops. The PTA is very active, and sponsors regular activities at the school - AR Reading program, Super Stars, Terrific Kids, Carnival, Skate Night, Pizza Night, and many other activities. The Principal is incredible. She is such a great asset to the school. The teachers are wonderful. They are warm and caring, and take the time to be sure each child is succeeding. The children are truly made to feel loved and welcomed each and every day there at Baccus. The principal, staff and teachers are all truly incredible.
