This is a great family oriented school. The teachers truly care about their students and have more of a one on one connection because of the small class sizes in the lower grades. The upper grade teachers have tutoring multiple times a week and participate in Saturday school. They truly give so much to these kids to help them succeed. The lower grade teachers try to instill a love for learning and responsiblity for their actions. The administration supports their teachers. Parent involvement is low.

There is little communication from the teachers/school to the parents, gifted & talented program is good, due to small class size.

As far as academics the school seems to center around the children that are higher grades. The ones that need help are a little left out. Parents aren't really involved at awards. Kids with learning disabilties don't get the attention they deserve. As far as meds taken at school stay on top of it if your a parent. They sometimes over dose and sometimes forget to give.

I was not impressed with this school at first. That changed when I heard my daughter read out loud. As for academic programs, I never recieved any information on what they had to offer. They did have several events were they asked parents to be more involved. The level of parent involment was not what I expected.

I like the teachers at this school, however, a lot of them are newer in the education field and should probably have more experience. Also, I do not like the balance of student ethnicity at this school. I would like for my child to grow up around english speaking students.
