This school is wonderful.... private school atmosphere in a public school. Very accepting of new kids (1st grader and 9th grader), not as cliquish as our last school, LOTS of parental involvement, high level of education and exceptional extracurricular activities for a school this size!

This is a really great school. My children went to GISD for two years, and durning that short while they were not only made a part of the community, but they were made a part of the school, and have developed lifelong friendships.

Granger school is one of the last vestiges of an era that is too soon becoming lost in this country. It has great hometown values and a wonderful tradition which stretches many, many years back in time. Even though it may not have all of the technological, etc. advantages of more elite schools, the students who have passed through its doors have been most blessed.

I find lack of extacurricular activities, the students haven't exaclty been taught to the extent that they can be, the students at Granger could be a bit more involved in more school activities besides athletics, they deserve to have fun while they are learning, Granger lacks the different culture and ethnic backgrounds which makes it a bit odd.
