The name says it all, The absolute rudest principal and nastiest vice-principal I have ever had the misfortune of coming into contact with. Education provided is sub-standard. My children had a world of catching up to do upon transferring to a new school. I highly recommend a private school if you live in this district.
This is a great school. The staff and the teachers are wonderful, nice and polite. They work very well with our childrend.
I love Lee Means Elementary because they have a wonderful staff and a nice, comfortable learning enviroment.
Although we moved into our new school in January, 2009, our 400 students earned a 'recognized' rating on the state tests administered in March and April. In addition to excelling in academics, we participated in Marathon Kids, Academic Olympics, and had a sleep-over reading event in our library. We have grown from a small to a mid-sized school in the district, with a current enrollment of 551. Our science department participated in a joint Skype event with two other area schools, and will present at a Family Science Night in the district.
