This is a great school! We transferred here from a private school and we are not disappointed. It is better and the teachers are all great. They have many rewards for excellence so the children are always motivated to excel. The principal is very caring also.
We moved here three years ago and my three children have attended and my daughter still attends this school. It is now beautifully remodeled. No longer looks institutionalized. Still seems like a fundraiser mill, but the children benefit from these things. My oldest son went to Sea World on their 5th grade trip. My second son went to Schlitterbahn on his 5th grade trip. Our principal is the best..I saw her name every child in two 5th grade promotion ceremonies without having to read their names off a list. She knows them, every one. My daughter loves her 4th grade teacher and music class. We love T.H.E.
We moved into this school district so my daughter could attend THE. My cousin attended THE and is now attending Texas Christian University with a full academic scholarship and he credits all this with the great education he received at THE.From the office employees to the teachers to the after school program instructors - they all truly care about the children and they all do all they can to help the children succeeed. We love THE!I know that my daughter is getting the best education possible here!
School is very well organized with outstanding principal
My daughter went to Treasure Hills for one year before we moved. I found the school to have a wonderful caring principal. Other than that I thought the school was a fundraiser mill, every time my daughter brought home her backpack, there was a new fundraiser, they should have a few large ones throughout the year. Her teacher seemed very frazzled and had her 'favorite' mom's that were awarded at the end of the year. It was very cliche.
Great award winning School and District. Great Teachers. Also has very Good Teacher to student ratios. It is a very sought after school district to move into.
Our family is getting ready to move to a new house, I am doing all I can to stay in this school, for the fact that it has really helped that it is close by, in a great neighborhood, and has many academic advantages for my kids. My son loves it. And I love it as well. I just wish however, they would change the colors of the inside of the school. Too institutional. Other than that, teachers are great, and they really help the kids to succeed.
My children moved from private school to this one this year and were behind in academics and discipline in the classroom. I moved to this neighborhood just for the schools on through to the high school. I was not disappointed and my children love it. Wonderful group of teachers and children.
This is an awesome school. The principal stays on top of all activities that involve the students and maintains high standards from her teachers. I only wish the class ratio was smaller, especially in the lower grades.
