DCA is a university model school that takes a classical approach to education. I love that glorifying God while getting a highly valued education are the priorities of this school. Being a young and growing school, issues have come up that any new school deals with but we have seen the school resolve each one in a capable, satisfactory, Christ-like manner. Parental involvement and accountability concerning schoolwork is a must for your child to be successful, particulary in the younger years. I was worried at first that the school would be intimidating(snobby, pretentious, etc) since it is an advanced, college prepatory school but it is not at all. Everyone is down to earth just wanting to do the best for their kids. Principal Belinda Henson is a blessing to the school. Her demeanor, professionalism, and knowledge give me God's peace that my children are cared for. Educators and parents are not perfect, therefore this school never will be, but this school strives for righteousness and Christ-like behavior.

We love this school. My daughter even loves it! This was the best move we could have made for our child. Tanya K.

DCA is a University-model school. My kids attend two days a week and I help them complete the curriculum the other three days. I love being able to be with my children and I love the accountability these teachers provide for me. The teachers are experienced and professional. Everyone has a bachelor's degree and/or a master's degree.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.

More from this school
  • We secure highly qualified parent-teachers to provide direct teaching and hands-on learning two days a week. The remaining three days are spent completing assignments, projects, compositions, and independent work at home. Parents learn about pedagogy by attending workshops and on-going training to ensure quality teaching and learning in the home. Students at home will spend one to two hours on their assignments and projects for every hour they spend in class. The ultimate purpose is give parents back the time they need to impart their faith and values into the lives of their children.
