Love, love, love Vista Academy!...Character education, great teachers, fantastic administrators and actively promotes parent involvement. My son will be a better person attending Vista versus our other alternative.
My daughter came from a public school, very behind in reading and math. She loves Vista, and seems to understand what they are teaching her. They are helping her in her academics!
Vista Academy offers a great curriculum combined with a caring staff. The small school environment is great for my daughter.
Vista Academy is a caring, supportive school environment. We have high expectations for our students and our teachers love teaching. I have 4 grandchildren at vista and I teach there. It's a wonderful place to be!
I have never worked in such an positive and enouraging environment where everyone truly works as a team and truly cares about the students and their success!
I brag about Vista because they gave me a chance to teach! In that chance I have had opportunities to grow, be encouraged, refined and ultimately supported to make a difference in the lives of children. Here at Vista we do have a great opportunity to have a close knit environment, even on the hardest days, I feel loved. This school is definitely working on building a collaborative working environment that will always promote the students first!
I love Vista Academy because it is very student centered with small classes and individualized instruction. The learning is hands on with many manipulatives and lab experiments. We have a warm family environment with very dedicated teachers and parent volunteers are always welcomed.
Love the school. Love the smaller classroom environment. My daughter has really thrived there after moving from an overcrowded public school. The staff is great and knows everyone by name. It's just a refreshing change. Another positive about the school is that they offer ways to teach to your childs specific learning styles. Can't say enough about it!
Our local school district wanted my daughter to pass a fifty question multiple choice test, alone with no parent nearby, to skip from Kindergarten to 1st grade. Vista places kids in grade levels where their skills and maturity match. Vista's teachers and admins have been very attentive to our child's needs and we enjoy watching her rapidly increase her abilities each year...Vista has been great.
I have to disagree with the poster with the sour-grapes attitude critical of Vista who stated they tell you anything to get enrolled. That's a total lie. This is the best school you will find anywhere. The teachers, staff, principal are all absolutely awesome! It is a very caring, nurturing place for your child. My daughter has been there since Aug. 08 and I wouldn't even consider another school. It's like Cheers 'where every body knows your name'. Parents and students alike get personal attention. You have a problem? The doors are always open for discussion. I've never seen a finer group of people in one place before! Vista is the best school, hands down!!
This school is a wonderful place to have your children. The staff and teachers are very caring and are there for the kids in a loving, nurturing way. Our childern have excelled in the time spent with this wonderful school. I hope to see the school grow and continue the excellence.
We love this school, teachers are awesome and staff too. I am very happy what my kids are learning. kids learn discipline too. I would recommend this school.
What a wonderful place for your child to learn and grow! They provide a very small student/teacher ratio where the children get a lot of one-on-one attention. The staff is incredibly caring and supportive. They are easily accessible and communicate well with parents. I would and have recommended this school to anyone looking for a small, nurturing, loving environment for your child to thrive in.
Very interested in doing what is best for the children. Loving and kind and supportive. Has a small staff and missing some extras.
They tell parents what they want to hear just to get them enrolled. They have no Reading or Math specialist or individualized learning styles as promised. Music class is a guy with a guitar singing songs with the kids. After school is a complete disaster. Their is no structure and the directors are lazy and don't want to have anything to do with the children. Too many family and friends are hired.
