Bullying is a Major problem here, amongest Students as well as Parents. Fights and accidents happen and nothing is done about it, law inforcement needs to step up a little more to the campus in the afternoons. Parents argue and fight on campus, threaten each other, etc.. cops called and the same "Parents" are allowed back on campus to cause more problems again. Unfortunately there is a bad problem here with cliques and nothing is done to stop it. The town theme "Everybody is Somebody in Hico." fits this town very well!

Supervision is poor, many major accidents, teachers and aides more worried about chit-chatting with each other than watching the children. Funds ok, extra programs are starting up. My one HUGE complaint is lack of supervision, kids get hurt, kids bully other kids and then get rewarded for it, The staff and superintendant say they will 'fix' things but they never do. Cafeteria is old and should be condemmed.

No extra programs available for the Pre-k, Kindergarten classes. No field trips. Many major accidents at P.E. and recess, never contacted parents. Too many children at playground. Only one daily lunch menu, no other options. School district relies on parent involvement in classrooms. Low income district, very little resources.
