Briarhill is an amazing school and most teachers are very nice. Mrs. Martelli (language) and Mrs. English (math) are very good teachers and are very caring. I love this school!!
What makes this school average is the politics regarding academics & athletics we see each year. It's a Buddy System between most parents & teachers, plus the teachers/coaches do not embrace diversity!
This school is a good school. It would be a great school if teachers and administrators learned the importance of spreading kindness and not the exact opposite. Kids understand kindness and will reciprocate. The biggest issue we face regularly is constantly having to monitor the esembler, finding regular mistakes recorded by teachers. We continuously have to communicate to correct their grading mistakes. The excuse is always 'we have 120 kids to grade'...well, that's your job...not mine! Other than that it is a fine school and the new principal is doing a fabulous job.
Incredible School.. Caring Teachers, involved parents. I am sending all my children there and am proud to do so.
It is a good school. With the new principal there is a whole different mood it the school. But the teachers are not very kind to the sudents. I undersand that teachers have to give some kind of homework but I think that 3 to 4 hrs is a little overboard.
If the senior leadership/administration was changed and other than serious peer pressure at this school, it would be one of your finer schools.
Disappointed. Academics seem challenging, but attitude of teachers and staff toward students is often harsh. 'No trouble' straight A students have unnecessary anxiety about making school procedural mistakes.
The academic programs are excellent. There are many extracurricular activities. There is in my opinion not enough parent involvement. The majority of teachers are good teachers.
This school is average at best. The administrators are unkind. The level of education is sad. Teachers move slowly along the material. There is little opportunity for high acheiving students.
This is the best school! It teaches students in very unique and different ways making it fun for them at the same time. The teachers are excellent! The principals are outstanding! The amount of extracurricular activities are extraordinary! My kids LOVED it!
