highlands is well know for having 'smart kids' because it is always recognized school.highlands also always has good athletic students.the teachers and staff are great!overall,it is a great school.
We have been pleased with the GT program, and the teachers, but not thrilled with the amount of bullying, fighting and drug-availability going on. Maybe not fair to say though, since this is our first year of junior high, and don't have anything to compare it to.
