I am a previous KIPP student and next year i will be sending my son there to start prek. Hands down KIPP has made a great impact on my life and it really did instill those values and it has stuck to me. KIPP goes very far in ones life if taken seriously. Both my kids will be going to KIPP from start to finish untill college. PERIOD. i graduated from KIPP middle school in 2004 and still think about my teachers there. Even though KIPP is very strict. I feel like in the end, it ALL paid off. Alot of these so called schools are so loose in conduct and have very low goals and show no value.. niether do they actually show personal attention to their students. With KIPP you will get that plus more.. im not sure if KIPP has changed since i've been there or not but from where i left off.. KIPP has no competition.. hands down. although the sports teams have never been A1 lol the education you attain from the school is always on point. -Dj mock <3

kipp is an awesome school, despite what leader has left the school. Education is the main key I absolutly love that my children are at this school. I love the hands on that the school allows and parent involvement if you choose. The acedemics challeges the student to push above and beyond in fact my kipster in the first grade was on a fourth grade reading level. The staff is awesome as well as the new principle. In the end grading the school on politics or who likes what principle is unfair. I would suggest any parent who wants the best in education for thier child to consider kipp,its also prek-12th grade

THE NEW PRINCIPAL SHOULD BE LET GO, KIPP IS JUST GOING TO TURN INTO AN AVERAGE SCHOOL

This school lost a great principle and since then it took a dive.Ont the top it has become a trainee school for other Kipp schools and many of its teachers leave for other Kipp schools after training so unfortunately it has lost it's character they way it grew for first five years.
