This charter lab is fricking great! Over the past 3 semester my child was there I have received nothing but positive things. As of right now my child can read and has developed exception writing skills! I have grown to know her teacher quite well. Trust me she can "tell you" the exact kind of involved parent I am. The principal and secretary/ clerk have shown me unwavering respect and patience of harden steel tolerance. I HIGHLY recommend this school to any parent's consideration. As for the negative reviews above me, I can assure you through observation both in my child's classroom and outside my child's classroom they are likely exaggerated. I have observed that all too often the teachers show more care and concern for the students than the parents. My only reservation of concern is that they only teach up to 2nd grade! I do so dearly wish they could were allowed to teach higher grade levels! They certainly have the expertise as far as I am concerned. H

Entered my child in the school and he was mistreated by his teacher. They told fabricated stories and I never could get the truth from them. The teacher informed me that she didn't have to teach my son. She also gave. The school refused to inform me that there had been a physical altercation. This teacher was very unprofessional and commenced to screaming at me every day.

I started off with my oldest son there and it was great . Just because of the concern and love this one teacher had for him . But by the time my younest son reach it , it had turned. They have no structure at all. TSU lets children run out of control. Please don't ever take your children there. And if your there now , I would advise you to leave.

The teachers at this school are so perfect for the students. They focus on what is most important-our children.

About the tests

Texas uses Accountability Ratings to indicate the overall performance of each school and district. The ratings are based on TAKS test results, dropout rates for grades 7 and 8 and school completion rates for grades 9 through 12. Schools and districts rated under standard accountability procedures are designated as Exemplary, Recognized, Academically Acceptable or Academically Unacceptable. Schools and districts rated under alternative education accountability (AEA) procedures are designated as either AEA: Academically Acceptable or AEA: Academically Unacceptable.
