CyFalls is not a school that I would recommend. I would encourage any parent to consider other schools in the district if possible. I have two students at CyFalls and have seen the politics first hand. One reviewer mentioned that the school administrators focus on keeping up appearance. This is very true and I doubt that it will change any time soon. Sports: If you have an athlete, politics is very heavy. If you are not willing to play the game then CyFalls will not be beneficial for your student in athletics.

Cy falls is an OK school but I do agree that they just like to keep appearances and don't feel in any way that they actually try to understand us or even get to know us. That's my opinion but academically they have good teachers.

HORRIBLE!!!! My son has been bullied for months. He has also been assaulted. The Assistant principal claims that my son is a certain way that's why children pick on him. The Assistant Principle told me I should have done something sooner and that my child should have come to him. Good luck having the principle call you back. I have sent e-mails and messages still waiting. The AP also went as far as to tell me my child was not telling the truth. He know has a scar of his arm for life.

CAREFUL!! Cypress Falls is not a safe school for your children. My son's cellphone and other belonging have been stolen twice from his gym locker. The principals and authorities just turn their sight and wash their hand saying they have no probe or evidence.

Not a safe school, by any means. I've reported violent, even sexual acts, but all the staff here is concerned about is grade scores and 'keeping up appearances'.

My daughter had to miss the first three weeks of school because she had to be out of state. When she returned the counselor was very kind and understanding. I feel like they care about the students and their families.

I just enrolled at CyFalls HS, and this school is the best. The registration department was awesome at enrolling me. The counselor was very helpful and nice. Most of all I enjoyed the lunch, it was great. The food was very good. I'm going to love being a student at this school.

Cy Falls is a great school to attend. As a former student, I am proud to say I graduated from Cypress Falls. The school is well known across the state as well as the nation because of football, Science Olympiad, journalism, etc. The principal is fabulous, she truly cares about the students. The faculty is great and very knowledgeable in the subjects they teach. While athletic wise, Cy Falls has had a down year - it is always amongst the top in the district and the region in most sports. In comparison to other schools across the district, Cy Falls is the one to attend. The atmosphere is pleasant and students learn how to communicate and work with all different types of people. The school is located in a nice area and is middle class, give or take depending on what student you talk to. Amazing school.

Cy-Falls would get a B for academics, a C for extracurricular activities and a D for sports programs. Academically the school is excellent for their accelerated programs with the exception of a few teachers in their physics and history department. If you are a low level child from what the school district calls their special population , i.e. their way of saying minority population, you get lots of help. If you are one of those gifted and talented children, you get lots of help. If you are an average kid, your parents better help you a lot because you ll get lost in the middle. There is about 3,500 kids at this school and it s easy to become a number if your child is not on the top or bottom. Athletics are fair to poor (unless you are a football player). Not every athlete plays football, but this sport gets most of the attention. But that is probably true about a lot of schools. Coaches for less popular sports are not held accountable for their ability, involvement or success. If the coach show up (sometimes) and puts their athlete on the field, in the pool or whatever the sport is, they are considered to be doing their job. The coach s actual ability to coach and improve their athletes seems to be a minor concern. Involvement is about the only criteria. If you want your child to be highly successful you have to find your own coach outside of the school. Luckily this school is in an area that, select sports are excellent.

The agriculture program at Cypress Falls High School is horrifying. The students in the classroom are not learning any of the curriculum.

A better school than a lot of community parents give it credit fort. Very comprehensive. My daughter has been very happy. Yes, there is a racial mix, but the economics are very middle class and the racial mix is positive in my opinion. I will say, however, that the principal is a bit distant to the parents. But I guess a big 5A Texas high school is going have that problem often. Overall, a B+

I have 3 kids in this school and we moved into the area to go to Cypress Falls. I couldn't be happier with this school. My kids are in band, softball, drill team and they love the school and their teachers. It reminds me of the school I went to which was very respected. Cypress Falls has award winning arts programs as well as some pretty good athletic teams! I would recommend it to anyone who is shopping for a school or an area to live in - the area surrounding Cypress Falls is a very laid back, almost small town area being in the extreme Northwest side of town and it has easy access to 290 and I-10.

I am extremely satisfied with Cypress Falls. Two of my children (graduates) had no difficulty being accepted by the universities of their choice. The state accountability is a good measure of the success of the school. The various extracurricular groups and teams routinely return from competitions with awards - ranging from Band to Computer Club to Athletics to Science Olympiad. There is an active volunteer program for parents who wish to make a difference, too.

This school is very behind the other school's academic standards in the cypress fairbanks area. The discipline and safety of its students is good yet the actual learning aspect of Cy-falls is rather slow and not as challenging. I have friends whose children attend Cy-Springs and Langham Creek and their kids are far more ahead in their studies than those students of Cy-Falls.
