My son is the 2nd of my kids to go to Stephen's and he seems to enjoy it. However as a single parent, my only wish would be for Stephen's to offer an after school program for parents whom can't be w/their kids immediately after school. That would be a safety net I could rely on.

This is an excellent school. My nephew started going there when he was in the 2nd grade and his grades and self esteem approve tremendously. You always knew what was going on in the school and the teachers really care about the kids.

I am now a former parent of Stephens Elent. My son was forced to withdraw from this school because he had to walk to the community center due to my work scheduel. I am a single mother of three children and I recently moved to another district. I used my grandmother's add. to allow my children to go to Aldine I.S.D. because I had no money for daycare nor transp. for my children. So I had to mk the most logical discision. And that was to keep them in Aldine district. Where my son would have to walk about 5 blks after being dropped of at my grandmothers home then off to the center an after school program that was great and affordable.

My son went to Stephens Elementary for a few years and I have the utomst respect for everyone there. My son has ADHD and it has really hindered his learning ability. The teachers and staff worked very closely with us and our son through the years to try to get him where he needs to be. I can honestly say that they care about their students.
