Although the school is 38% African American you wouldn't be able to tell by looking at the yearbook activities. I think that the yearbook committee should take a second look.I also feel that there should be more AA teachers employed at Lovett.

Lovett is a wonderful school giving the children an excellent foundation to build upon! The fine arts magnet is fabulous and the teachers are first class!

This school is extremely focused on making the child responsible. Complaints about teachers go unheeded even when they are multiple and continuous. I have seen children cry hysterically if they forget a homework assignment as this will result in a 'punishment' type of retribution from some teachers. This school believes in negative reinforcement. This school has not met our expectations. My child has had only two caring teachers in her 5 years at this school.
