Teachers are very caring and passionate when it comes to teaching the children. Our son went from Pre-K to 5th grade and left Ed White prepared for his middle school years at a private school.

Ed White Elementary School allows for student and teacher creativity to maximize learning. It's an amazing inner city public school for its students, faculty, the neighborhood, and Texas (rated by the Texas Education Agency as 'exemplary'). Just as Astronaut Ed White made the ultimate commitment to the space program, students and staff strive daily to be the best they can be. When visitors walk into the front doors of the school, they say they can feel the positive energy. Fortunately, students and staff thrive in this positive academic environment. It is a privilege to be a part of this team, and I do not take this opportunity for granted.

Ed White Elementary is a place where everyone cares about all the children. Here all teachers and administration help each other when it comes to working or teaching students. Ed White is like a home away from home and parents when away from their parents. We do all that is possible for our future leaders.

'Best School' I pulled my kids out of the school due to reasons beyond my control. Biggest Mistake. Now I am trying to enroll them back but they are at full capasity. Hope I have better luck next year. My daughter graduated from 5th grade 2 years ago. Great aftreschool programs, clubs, and parent involvement. They have the best teachers, staff and principal.

The school is very proactive with the students,teachers and parent. Although there have had 2 principals in the past 2 years it is only because the principals move on to bigger schools. It is a diverse school.
