LOVE this school. Easy email access to Teachers. Immediate responses from all of them when my child was sick for several days. Before and after school tutorials available. This school is NOT EASY. Lots of homework and very challenging curriculum, even for my GT child.

We love this school! Teachers care, they are approachable. My son has never been happier. We moved from a private school that was horrible. I can't believe this school is free. Some public schools really get it right!

I loved my middle school experience. As a former student I believed that attending this school well prepared me for Memorial High School. It was challenging at the beginning, but soon after all A's were easily coming with the right study habits taught. I appreciate my education received.

I am very unhappy with my student s experience in this school; this has been the most unpleasant schooling experience in my entire life. If I had a younger child who had to go through middle school again this wouldn t be a choice, we want the best education for our children. Spring Branch ISD has wonderful middle schools with great administrators that provide a safe and fair educational environment to students and who are educators that promote learning at all times. Spring Branch ISD is a great school district; I do no judge the whole district for an employee or two who don t do as great as the rest of the school district. I state this based on my own experience and it represents my sole opinion.

i love this school i came to it last year and i love it i am now in the 7th grade i love that a lot of my friends go there! the education there is very very good !

It used to be very exceptional, well kept school. But, I fear that we are hitting a tuff spot with our new principal. But, overall it's still a pretty good school. Sure, there is the ocassional bad apple, that's bound to happen, but there are a lot of sweet ones too who happen to be extremely smart and gifted.

I recently moved from Houston leaving this school behind. I love this school. It has outstanding arts, music, sports, and extracurricular activities. It is very organized and has a friendly enviroment. This school also has amazing academic programs. I learned so much from this school and feel like I have taken a step back since I've come to a private school. The disipline is also great. This school is overall wonderful!

Very good school! My daughter went there for 3 years and had a great education. A lot of parental involvement if you want to do it. Lots of fine arts options from orchestra, band, choir, musical theare, theare and art. All types of sports for kids to be involved in (although no cheerleading team). Great school overal, GO EAGLES!

The faculty at MMS is deplorable. Students are treated as if they and their opinions are not welcome in the highly discriminatory enviornment. Futhermore the principal has no control of the school, because of one of the assistant principals who makes it her priorty to punish innocent students based on past problems or mistakes.

About the tests


In 2012-2013, the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) was used to test students in reading and math in grades 3 through 8; in writing in grades 4 and 7; in science in grades 5 and 8; in social studies in grade 8; and end-of-course assessments for English I, II, and II, Algebra I and II, biology and US History. STAAR is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Texas. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.

The different student groups are identified by the Texas Education Agency; if there are a small number of students in a particular group, the state doesn't report data for that group.
