Wilchester Elementary School

My son has really improved academically since we moved to Wilchester. There is a strong work ethic and excellent parent involvement in school operation and activities. The school is excellent at keeping us informed of our son's progress and even where he needs further work. Best move we ever made.

Great school! We moved from another school district within Houston to have our children go here. The G/T program is awesome! New principal this year is really organizing things and is a great communicator. Parents are very, very involved here--almost to the point of a "helicopter parent" mentality. We volunteer but don't go overboard. We want our children to learn independence without us constantly being on campus. Not much diversity compared to the school we previously attended. Other than that, academics are above average, and we are happy that we made the move...

Wilchester is an incredible school in a friendly neighborhood. My son is in first grade and my daughter starts K in the fall. The principle and staff are committed to helping the children learn and grow. We hope to never leave the area!

My daughter is in Pre k and has excelled since attending Mrs Popes class. We purchased our home in this subdivision specifically for this school. The parents and families of Wilchester are very committed to their children's education. We have excellent fundraiser and the most wonderful staff.Deirdre

My daughter is currenlty in 3rd grade and I specifically wanted her to go to this school because of her reading disability. Overall she has shown great improvement and this school strives on improving yearly. This school has received many awards/or exceeds standards. Go Wildcats!
