My children attend this school and are at a far higher learning level then most of the children from the public school that they would attend if going to school in Cy-Fair (one of the best public school districts in the state). The principal doesn t try to sugar coat things and tells it like it is. The neighborhood could be better but when daily the children are challenged academically in order to prepare them for high school and college I am getting more than what I pay for education. I drive 45 miles daily to get my kids to school and I do it proudly knowing that my kids are getting a quality education. When you pick a private school you need to look beyond the neighborhood and also ask yourself how involved you want to be in your child s education. I would recommend OLG to anyone that is looking for a good affordable catholic school education.

As a new parent I attended the orientation and was disappointed the pricipal told parents the student/teacher ratio was 14/1. That is only so in pre-k & Kinder that have 27 kids and teacher & teacher assistant. All other classes do not have that ratio. She said there were 242 students do the Math yourself! If you receive financial aid or free tuition, why not? If you pay full tuition, I do not recommend because you are considered "fancy" ! She also introduced the new teachers and that was half the staff. Makes you question why?
