Tenney School is an extraordinary site for leaning. The focus is on the individual student & that student's needs.
I attended the school and would recommend this school for any child that does not have enough discipline to get their work done.
This is a wonderful school that provides an excellent education. It is appropriate school for any type of student from the extremely gifted student who may not be challenged,to a student that needs more flexibility due to a special interest or talent,to a student who has a learning challenge such a dyslexia or ADHD or just an average student who wants more attention. The school provides each student with the perfect learning environment of one-on- one instruction and small classes. I have had two daughters with very different needs attend this school. One daughter was not progressing and being challenged in her previous school. At Tenney she goes as quickly through the material as she needs yet can stop and cover some topics in more detail when necessary. My other daughter is dyslexic and Tenney accommodated her learning style. In both cases their self-esteem sky-rocketed. Tenney is a luxury for any student.
Very nice school, with lots of one on one time for the teachers and students. The PE program leaves much to be desired.
