"We are Family" is the school motto and this is so true. The teachers know all the students by name regardless of grade level. Parent involvement is encouraged. You can't go wrong with any of the PreK teachers. They are all great. The upper levels are no longer Montessori but the change is phenomenal. There are smart boards in every class and a new computer lab. I have 2 kids here and wouldn't go anywhere else.

My sons both attend St. Mary's, it is a close nit school. Most of the teachers are very good and care a great deal about the children, it is a strong faith based school, kids are given structure in a positive environment that fosters learning.

My son has attended St. Mary's since PK4 and in now in 4th grade. We are very satisfied with both the quality of the education and the overall nurturing faith-based environment of the school. We are sad that the school only goes to 5th grade and that we will have to look for a middle school next year.

St. Mary's is a great school if you want a very small, close-knit, family-type, faith-based environment for your PK-5th grade child. They do a great job with reading skills, particularly if your child has good reading skills to work with. Some math reinforcement is necessary though. Overall: wonderful, Catholic, strong faith school.

Being a parent at St. Mary's a little over eight years, I must say I am satisfied with the education, extra-cur. and the nurturing environment. However, the principal could definitely use some additional trainings in effective communicating, but no worry, she is not teachng any of the classes. That is why my children are still in attendance. Kuddos to Mrs. Mary Helen, Mrs. Richard, Mrs. Patrick and Mr.Chance! I wish the school would add 6th-8th grade.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
