Creative Corner

I have worked with young children for over 18 years in several centers but my "roots" began at Creative Corner! Pamela Humphries had just moved into her Audry Lane location and I was one of the first teachers hired to work in that center. I remember waiting for the building to be completed so I could get started working with young children! Mrs. Humphries taught me so much and as I worked for her I learned that her school had the best reputation in the area for education of young children. Teachers were held to a high standard and from her successes through the years I can see that they still are! Her program and philosophy has always been that children be exposed to educational experiences as well as creative artisitic ones as well. My children attend Creative Corner. This pre-school is amazing! The teachers are so wonderful and they truely care about the children. My 3 year old has blossomed while attending Creative Corner! She is learning new things every day. I know that she will be very prepared when she starts kindergarden! I have a 4 mth old in the nursery there and I am so pleased with the care he recives. The teachers interact with the babies and they love on each one of them. It is so wonderful knowing you are leaving your children in caring hands! They are very observant of the childrens needs-emotionaly, physically and mentally. The Director is so incredible. She takes time to listen to the parents and keeps things running very smoothly. I have only wonderful things to say about Creative Corner!

I love the school and they also have a daycare at another location , I love both of them the school director and her assistant are always on top of things, they are very patient specially when my child had a hard time staying due to anxiety of being in a new place , they never frowned or complained they always reasured him and myself , curriculum is excellent my son is learning so much , I also had a nephew that went there for 4 years and is now in middle school at cunningham ,has never struggled always receiving commended on taks , i believe creative corner provides children with a good base for school, if they get a good base in early years your child will never struggle in the future .

Creative Corner is a great school, my son goes there and they are incredible with the kids. There leadership is great my son learns alot at school keep up the good work..

My daughter has attended Creative Corner since she was 2 1/2 yrs old. She is now going to be 7 in a month. She absolutely loves it there, but first & foremost she loves the teachers! With every different grade (Pre-school 1,2 & 3: kinder & 1st grade) came a new teacher and she loved them all. Also, the curriculum they use is fantastic! I can remember she was already writing her name in Pre-school and her reading amazes my husband & I. I have refered my family members to this school and would absolutely refer it to anyone else looking for daycare or private schooling. These ladies do an awesome job all under the direction of Mrs. Humphries -way to go Pam! My daughter is going to definitely miss everyone. 'Creative' really does give true meaning to the school and the hard work that these teachers do. r saucedo

Both of my children attend Creative Corner and they absolutely love to go to school everyday. The academics are amazing! I am so impressed at the quality of education and higher level thinking activities that occur. The teachers are warm and friendly and I love the diversity. Creative Corner is truly a great place to be!

Our daughter began attending Creative Corner since last summer when she turned three. She absolutely loves all of her teachers and staff that greets her, she loves her 'friends', and loves learning. My husband and I are very pleased with the fact that she has developed using her fine motor skills, developed early literacy skills, writes her name, has increased her vocabulary tremendously, counts, and can even recognize some sight words. Again, she is only three! At home we have noticed she loves to 'read' books by looking at the pictures and her pretend play has become much more imaginative in a positive manner. I can see that Creative Corner has high expectations and that is what makes them so successful. We appreciate all that Creative Corner does. As a teacher and parent, I am very proud of their program and would recommend them without hesitation...jj

My son attended CC for two years for pre-k and Kindergarten. He entered first grade at public school and was tested for the GT program. At our meeting, his teacher informed me that he was reading on an 8th grade reading level. I was extatic. He had a great foundation started for his education due to Creative Corner. He remained in the GT program through out school and as a Sr in high school, in all AP classes. This was all due to the positive foundation he was taught at CC. His teachers (some still employed there) and the leadership from Pam Humphries molded his future in a very positive way. They sincerely care about the kids and the parents involvement. I recommend this school to anyone and could not be more thankful to the staff at CC. He loved attending which made me even more thankful.

Creative Corner has been such a blessing to our family!! The loving care from all personnel, from the Director all the way to the lunchroom assistant, have made me feel so secure in the knowledge that my kids are with someone at all times who loves them and cares for them just as I would if I were with them! On top of that, their academic program is beyond compare--my kids are/were reading--by themselves--before kindergarten! The love for reading that was instilled in them by their school will help them value reading as they progress through their education. Thank you, CC! and Thank You, Ms. Humphries, for providing such an outstanding program for the children of the North Channel area! We love you!

I have had both of my children attend Creative Corner. The foundation that they received in their education was phenomonal. My son is now in first grade at a public school and my daughter will attend elementary school next fall and they are both better prepared for school than most other kids in their grade level. They will continue to attend the after school program at Creative Corner. I am very thankful for all the staff their for their comittment to young children's education.
