Never again!!!! Do NOT send your child there. Very poor teaching level, uncertified teachers and untrustable staff in addition the principle is the worst person there. The only thing that she can do is to answer the phone and says her famous sentence I don t know !!!! and if you need further info about owner, he is . It was the worst school that I ever experienced with my kids

This school was the worst thing I could have done to my son. I am sorry he had to spend even five minutes in the presence of such incompetence and cruelty.

We are leaving the school after 5 years of going there. In that span of time, the faces have changed but the same poor leadership, unfair treatment based on reasons you probably already know (use a little imagination). I have ignored these things until lately when my child suddenly became uncomfortable going to class. There are many options in Clearlake, hope you consider this warning very seriously.

Montessori School of Downtown (Clear Lake campus- Infant School)---This school has been wonderful to our son, now 2 yrs & 2 mths (started at 15 mths old) . Every time, we have come to pick him up, he has seemed very happy (playing outside, circle time, potty time or washing his hands...). Transparency: one can pick up one's child at anytime (= you can just drop in and check on your child) . They have huge windows through which you can see what the children are doing. Our son has skin problems (eczema, prone to rash...); even going to school with a diaper rash, he came back home with it gone (this was at 15 mths old). He is learning a tremendous amount of things: nursery rhymes, manners (thank you...), how to eat (with a spoon)... Miss Meenachi (coordinator) is WONDERFUL w/ all the kids & so were his 2 teachers!

Do NOT send your children to this school. There is NO transparency, the leadership is apathetic and uncaring, and we caught them several times not being forthcoming with the truth about several situations. I know many people who have had issues and left this school. I could go on and on about how horrible this experience was.

My son has been going to MSODT since he was 18 months. He has completed pre-primary and K there. The school is great academically. The provide a great love of learning. The teachers are very involved with the child's learning and are nurting as well. There have been some administrative issues in the past, but other than that the school is wonderful for overall development.

There is little transparency and we were never sure of the activities of our child. They use a card to inform the parents on the daily activities, but we have reasons to believe that they did not report the truth. The human touch and the relationship with the parents is almost non-existing and the conferences with the teacher need to be scheduled in advance and can't never be spontaneous. The leadership of the principal is very poor. She is only proactive for the financial issues, otherwise hard to get in touch with. Finally, and most important, at times we have seen teachers behaving with no loving care. We doubt if that is the right job for them. In short, we do not recommend this school to any parents.

Their before and after school program is horrible. They have gotten my daughter late to school 4 times this semester and it is only September. They are extremely understaffed and you can never get a hold of the director when needed.

This school is fantastic! My granddaughter went to pre-k, and just excelled academically. In addition, she recieved violin, ballet, and spanish lessons. Computer classes enhanced the overall academic goal. The teachers are exceptional. They care about the children and strive to meet individual needs. The down side would have to be the financial expense. This would be the perfect school if the tuition was not so expensive.
