This school's incompetence is unbelievable. Amongst the promises of smaller classes (not true), my daughter has had to endure a teacher who didn't know her last name until the second quarter started. There has been no field trip as of yet, and my daughter never has homework! I decided to give this school a shot after reading the review online, but it has become "crystal clear" that because this school does not have to follow district rules, it easily passes through a lot of the "red tape" other schools have to pass successfully. My assessment, is just that.....mine. This opinion is based solely on what I've personally seen and not heard. I have always been considered a "whistle blower", and that will remain as long as there are below average teachers teaching our children.

My oldest child has been going since she was 3, she is now going to 1st grade, in which she scored the highest last year on TPRI Testing, The teachers put learning first, and that is what is most important to me. Now both my girls go there. I don't think the school is a daycare you don't have to pay for at all...because the children are learning how to write, read, and other things. Yes I will agree there is a high turn over for teachers, But I would recommend this school to all parents or guardians who want the children to learn. This school year I think that they are getting sports and cheerleading going. Both my girls if they can, will be in these activities! Keep up the good work Children First!

My grandson is in Pre-K 3, and to me it is just a daycare that parents don't have to pay for. There is no orgainzation, and I don't feel security is very well. I don't feel the cirrculum is not structed. You do not receive any information concerning school rules, etc. We did not receive a school calendar until last week, It is now October. I would not recommend this school to anyone. I do not plan for my grandson to attend again next year.

My child has attended this school for three years and for the most part I am pleased. However, because of the high teacher overturn, the students are not being challenged enough and there is no program for students who excel in certain academic areas. the athletic department is fine, but what about the students who are talented in other areas, such as music, art, creative writing there are no programs for these students. I am not at all sure if my child will attend next year. I also feel discipline needs to be improved.

This is a great school for extracurricular activities, but the principal is never available and lacks leadership and the administration is unorganized (except the secretary). The teacher turn over rate is high and the superintendent does not care about his staff. I was happy with my childs fourth grade teacher (Mrs. Harrison) but my child will not be returning back to children first. Also you may need to provide transportation for your own child, because the transportation service needs major improvement.

The school Children First Academy, is a great school for learning children, it has free sports for the kids to play. The schools teachers, principle, and all the workers put the students needs first and for the kids to have fun while learning is great! As you can see from the scores this school has put work before play and it has worked. I can speak for myself because I am a former student of Chidren First. I myself think of this school as my family and home away from home. Thanks Children First Academy!
