My son has came to this school and he got in a lot of fights because of his race. He has been suspended but not the other child that have fought with him. My son is a great kid he can box because of his father but my son is hispanic and is always and constantly being bullied my the other children
The published curriculum is outstanding and enticing for a parent. That is what drew me to this school. Parent involvement is above average given geography and demographics which is encouraging. A few programs could be implemented to support character building but on the whole I would recommend the school to individuals transitioning to middle school. To place a student not in sixth grade places them in catch up mode socially and academically. But it can be done.
This school is the best school my daughter has ever went to, and I would prefer you to let your child attend it. My daughter was a low student and when she started going to Dominion she had improved. The teachers at Dominion are a parents dream, they have a TAKS prep going on right now. Send your child to Dominion and you will get great results.
