WALIPP has gotten rid of some of their problem faculty and is moving in the right direction. Thankfully, Rev. and Mrs. Lawson continue to give this school their vision.
Walipp didn't provide what I wanted for my son. Although it is an all boys school, I don't feel he had any positive strong male role models. The school is new so there are many kinks to be ironed out. I love the concept of the school, they just didn't provide what I thought originally would be obtained. Due to Walipp being a charter HISD school, there were no teams that I'm aware of. They did participate in gym classes that gave them the physical fitness they needed. Academic programs were mediocre.
