Moving to Katy, TX Help!

My daughter's education is very important to me and I'm unaware of the best schools in Katy, TX. She is quite a bright student,(Last year she was in excelled Reading and Math)and I want to make sure the school is the right fit. What elementary school would you suggest?

So many people are moving to Katy because of the reputation of the "good" schools. The schools are very crowded because of the examplary rating and new schools that are always being built.
My daughter went to all of the exemplary, brand new schools, was a straight A student, and hated it. She just wanted to get an education without the hassles of bullies, cliques, etc. She is not a follower and wasn't interested in conforming just so she could be popular.
In Jr. and Sr. High, it gets worse with drugs, guns, etc. You will find that a lot of people in Katy homeschool. Just because a school looks good on paper does not mean that it is the right fit for your child. The only way to know if a school is right for your child is to enroll her there.
If your child is not happy at school, the teachers and administrators will say that something bad must be going on at home. Even when I told them she was happy at home and miserable at school, they will never accept responsibility. So we homeschool now and she does not have the headaches, crying, and stress anymore like she did in Katy schools.

Contrary to popular belief, there is very little, if any, positive socialization in Katy schools. They are graduating hundreds of students that can't spell or write a sentence that makes sense because their parents give them expensive phones with unlimited texting. Then they buy them cars so they can drive and text. Some even encourage them to drink alcohol. Some parents will give anything for their kids to fit in. For them, morals and values are not nearly as important as fitting in and being popular.71879
