I agree Mrs.Mclain and Mrs. Ellen are a A+ Team at Lakeland! They have been for many years. They love what they do and it shows. For them there is really no child left behind! Go Mrs. Mclain & Mrs.Ellen!

I love Lakeland my son just started pre K and he has two teachers and they are great. He always want to go to school and talk about what Mrs. McClain has tought him and what he created in class or what he has learned. The staff is very helpful and gental with the kids. Great school.

All readers should disregard the review dated March 30, 2007. Excuse me, but if you don't even know that it is the TAKS test (not TAC's), then you have no room to talk. I went to Lakeland many years ago, and I am now a teacher. Although things may have changed, I remember a warm environment with wonderful teachers. If you don't think things are going well at the school, I encourage all parents to volunteer! Nothing helps a teacher like an extra pair of hands.

Lakeland is one of the worst learning experiences for your child. The school has little financial support. Most grades don't have workbooks to utilize. The schools objective is not for your child to learn but to emphasize your childs need to pass the TAC's test. There is a mixture of good teachers and bad teachers.
