Atascocita Middle School has been a great introduction for my child entering the 6th grade. Most of the teachers communicate well and really seem to care about the progress of my preteen. I had issues with the Theater Teacher and his methods but, So far, so good...

AMS is a great school. My daughter is going into 8th grade and she loves this school. The teachers are very involved and they let you know what is going on with your child. My daughter tells me that she has never benn bullied and if there is bullying that the teachers have full control of the situation. They also will not allow verbal bulling. I think this school has a lot to offer children.

I did go to Atascocita Middle and while I was there, I had Mr. Westerfeld. He was an awesome principal. Kind and caring, he really listened to you. I also had teachers who actually cared about their students. I was very fortunate to go there before the school got too crowded, but I made good friends, some of which I still communicate with, so yeah, I did like my three years at AMS. Go Tigers!

Atascocita Middle School is awesome. The teachers are really nice and caring and it seems to me that they really know what they are doing. This is coming from an all honors student. The extracurricular activities are great as well, and the have the best sports progam in the district that nobody can hope to beat. It is a bit overcrowded, but it is fun at the same time because you can have plenty of friends. I think the discipline is well taken care of and the pricipals do an outstanding job. Overall, AMS is a great school.

AMS has been a fine place for my daughter. The only real issue is the overcrowded situation and is it projected to get worst before 2010. The principal is top notch and very humble but seems to have everything working soothly even in a crisis.

I believe this school has wonderful things to offer. The teachers and staff are wonderful. Keep a well round of discipline in the school. The teachers do not let the students slack and students do not go un-noticed.
