The school is most definitely good and well equipped to take care of the needs of each child. However, I find the teachers to be detached and not as involved and nurturing as they could be. Some of them are, I daresay, racist.
Stewart continues to be an exemplary school and we have been very happy there. This is my son's last year to attend and we will miss the familiar faces and personal attention we have received over the years. My son has learned a lot of valuable lessons and will leave with a solid education.
We have been with Stewart Elementary for the past 6 years and happily have 3 more to go. My kids LOVE it. The education is excellent and the teachers are very competent, love the students and care for their wellbeing at school and within the community.
My child loves Stewart. Her teachers are very supportive and expect nothing but the best from all of their students.
I have been so impressed with this school that when the conversation is brought up about schools Stewart is the first thing that comes out of my mouth. My daughter went to school from K to 4th and I see the difference in her and other students her age.
My son had a great 'K' teacher. I was very impressed with everything he learned his first year and was impressed with her teaching. There were not many parents involved in his class, it was always the same 4 or 5 of us parents there out of 20 students in the class.
