Love this school, my son has grown emotionally and educationally while attending this school but more importantly HE Loves going to this school!! He has a fantastic relationship with all the teachers and loves the special events they put on such as maths evenings etc!! He recently went to Houston to the theater and had a blast!!! Last Year he had Mrs Cliff what a wonderful teacher!! he has excelled in Maths and reading because of the foundation she has taught him!! This year he has mrs Goodrow and again he is enjoying his classes!!
I have had other children at this school and have been very happy, this year has been totally unacceptable. principal very unorganized and not taking parent and the kids saftey in consideration
As a substitute teacher, this is one of my favorite schools to sub in. The other teachers are always righ5t there to assist you in any way they can. The administrative staff is ALWAYS there for you. The students themselves seem to appreciate your position and are very courteous to you. The school seems to REALLY care albout the students and their welfare. Thanks to Scott Johnson, I am enjoying my newly adopted hom,e of Huntsville, Texas.
I'm a parent of 2 children at Scott Johnson, and I think they are doing a fine job. I love their PPCD program and all the staff is so supportive of my special needs child. I wish there were more extra curricular activities but living in a small town, you can't be too choosy. I've had excellent communication with all the teachers and staff. They are only a phone call away if you need them. Every school has issues, but SJE seems to be able to work things out if they come up. Mrs. Oliphant, Mrs. Losack and Mrs. Castleberry have been nothing but excellent. I look forward to my children continuing at this school!
The school cares more about the appearance of your child and not the safety, education, or overall well-being of your child.
